FREELS GUIDE

Why a Facebook link does not download

Freels only saves public videos. A login page, a profile, or a removed Reel will not produce a file.

The video is not public

Freels never asks you to sign in to Facebook. If the Reel is private, limited to friends, or posted in a closed group, Facebook does not provide a public file. Open the link while logged out. If Facebook asks you to log in, Freels cannot save it.

The link is not a video

A profile, the Facebook home page, Marketplace, or facebook.com/login is not a video link. Paste the link of the Reel or video itself.

The video was removed

If the creator deleted the Reel, or Facebook took it down, there is no file to save. Open the link on Facebook and confirm the video still plays, then copy it again.

What Freels shows instead

When no public file is available, Freels shows an error. It does not invent a thumbnail, a quality list, or a successful download.
